404/408D

The Model 404/408D Loop to Switch Converter converts 4-20mA or 0-15psi inputs to control of up to 8 optically isolated 4-20mA outputs.It can be used for a variety or applications where control from a 4-20mA input is useful, or for pumping applications with either 4-20mA or 0-15psi inputs.

For non-pumping applications, this allows control of up to 8 devices from a single 4-20mA source, with LCD monitoring of current level and individual status LEDs for which outputs are active. For pumping applications, the 404/408D contains an air pressure-to-voltage transducer and requires only a small air compressor capable of 15 psi to operate the system down to approximately 35 feet, with LCD display that shows liquid depth in feet.

The Model 404/408Ds eight outputs are designed to replace the float switch inputs to a Model 403 or model 407, or to be used with a Model 448 output Relay Board. A 4-20mA signal output provides for other control applications. A 3-digit LED display continuously shows the current level (mA), liquid level (to a tenth of a foot), or both. LED indicators illuminate as the levels are exceeded.
